Lack of insurance is no laughing matter

Tuesday, April 12 2016

American comedian and actor Jack Benny once said, “I don't want to tell you how much insurance I carry, but all I can say is: when I go, the company goes too”.

Now there was a man who had adequate cover, but can you and your business say the same?

Unlike Benny, insurance is no laughing matter. Not having adequate cover can leave you, businesses, and employers vulnerable on so many levels.

It would be disastrous to you and your business if you are under insured for work you carry out at the point when you need to make a claim. It may cost you a substantial sum either by allowing the insurer to avoid paying at all or significantly reducing any claim payment.

Not being insured enough can happen for a variety of reasons from the lapse in payments to the lapse in judgement where you never think it will happen to you. The sad fact is, it could.

The key is to make sure the people, equipment, online systems and even the utilities are insured adequately so that if disaster strikes, you know you have it covered.

The initial spend on a policy will save you in the pocket in the long run.

Insure and Support takes insurance to a new level. Our number of clients continues to grow alongside our expertise in the field as more and more people back our open, honest and transparent approach to providing cover that is tailored to people’s needs.

We’re not saying be like Jack Benny, but it’s no laughing matter to find you’re not covered enough.
